Material:

CRGO silicon steel with characteristics of low iron-loss and high permeability in thickness of 0.23mm, 0.27mm.

Characteristic:

Cores are wound by our independently-developed winding machine and are high vacuum heat treated. Asymmetric cutting is acceptable. They come in shapes of UI, UU, and toroidal with precise dimensions.

Application:

Mainly used in the current transformers for electricity acquisition and detection. Square and round hole shapes are available.

High accuracy

Adopting the appropriate current transformer structure and the compensation-control method, the split current transformer can achieve very high accuracy and provide protection for accurate measurement.

Wide measurement range

The split current transformer core has a gap which broadens the unsaturated region of the magnetization. Therefore, the maximum current measured by the split current transformer is much larger than that measured by the current transformer with a closed structure. For example, the split current transformer core has a wider measuring range.

Non-invasive

Because of the open-close structure, the high precision split current transformer can be clamped directly on the measured conductor, and then the non-invasive measurement can be carried out without cutting off the circuit.

Strong anti-saturation ability

The split current transformer core has a gap which strengthens the saturation magnetic flux density of the core. Besides, the influence of residual magnetism on the split current transformer is lower than that on the closed structure current transformer. These make the split current transformer a strong anti-saturation capability.
